We have received an invitation to submit an Expression of Interest in competing in next years 2016 Pacific Keelboat Challenge. The event is conducted in 11 identical Farr 10.2m MRX yachts - the boats are supplied ready to sail, you just need to provide the crew. Past Commodore Bas Huibers entered Team Merak in this years event, and said it was thoroughly enjoyable with close competition.more
Yachting Victoria have released the Notice of Series for the 2015/16 OTB Marine Victorian Sailing Cup Series (VSC) - Yachting Victoria’s series for Junior and Youth classes. This series is based on the same concept as the ISAF Sailing World Cup but specifically for junior and youth sailors, to build fleet racing experience.more
The AMS Committee will conduct its annual weigh day on 30 August, at SYC. Its a once a year opportunity to get weighed at reasonable cost (usually around $150, but tba).
