The Royals OTB fleet had their first race of the season Sunday14th October. 13 Cadets and 11 Lasers made up the biggest OTB fleet of Royals members for many years. If anyone can remember the last time that there were 24 boats from Royals sailing OTB (not including vistiors) then David Johnson would like to know when.....
In glorious conditions, the best overall Laser was Craig Black with a 2, 4, 1 - but Tom Fowler won two races and then was kind enough to share his boat for the third so missed out on the points for the last race (although the boat came 2nd).
For the Cadets, honours were shared between Sidewinder (Louis Schofield / Max Knell) and Hold On(Harrison Croft / James Black) who each got a 1st and a 2nd in the two races. Check out the photos on the day.
