Latest Fund Raising News June 2012
Members will be receiving a letter to explain the next Australian Sports Foundation See Change projects we are seeking donations for. The Club is working on upgrades to the Clubhouse and plans can be seen here. The other project the Club is pushing forward with is a Platform Lift. The Club is actively seeking donations and we would be very grateful. If you want to have your donation included in this financial year, we will need your ASF See Change donation forms back to us by 28 June 2012 at the latest.

The Club has 3 projects in total that you can donate to through the Australian Sports Foundation to receive Tax Deductibility.
Set up to fund facilitation of sail training projects in the areas of equipment purchase for sail training and coaching AND assist in the cost of running sail trainng programes including intructors, hire of vessels, equipment, trophies and certificates.
To assist sailors with travel costs to enable them to compete at national and international regattas.
The See Change Fund has been registered as a project with the Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF). Donations made via ASF nominating the See Change fund as the main beneficiary will be tax deductible. Your support is invited by donation of a minimum of $1000. All grants from the ASF will be applied to the See Change facility project for the purpose of redevelopment to existing clubhouse and sailing facilities. Such projects include:
Upgrade of change rooms and locker storage
Upgrade of Clubhouse - donations being sought now for 2012
Upgrade of training room
Installation of platform lift- donations being sought now for 2012
Construction of sail training centre
Construction of start box
RYCV Life Membership
A strictly limited number of Financial Life Memberships at a cost of $25,000 each will be issued.
You are invited to be considered by the General Committee for Financial Life Membership of RYCV. Successful applicants will be recognised appropriately for their contribution and financial support of the Club.
A Royal’s bequest is a financial or other gift left in your Will to your Club. Your gift is a wonderful way for you to make a positive and lasting difference to the Club beyond your lifetime.
RYCV will impose stringent financial accountability for all bequests to respect the wishes of the donor. In the absence of your specific wishes your bequest will be used to strengthen RYCV reserves through their addition to a Future Fund kept separate from the general revenues of the Club. Please see the Commodore or General Manager to discuss further.
